Financing Officer (Loan Officer)

Role summary The Financing Officer is responsible for explaining financing products and eligibility for financing to customers, developing a client acquisition plan, conducting field visits for financial analysis, meeting monthly financing targets, growing the outstanding portfolio, and ensuring compliance with Islamic Financing requirements Duties and responsibilities Explain to customers the different types of financing options that are available, as well as the terms of those services. Identify and train potential clients on MUTAHID Financing methodologies. Develop a work plan for attracting clients in the geographical area assigned to the financing officer. Advertise and promote Mutahid’s Financing products to potential clients Field visit to analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine the feasibility of granting Financing. Achieve Monthly Financing targets set by operation department Outstanding portfolio growth while maintaining a good healthy Portfolio Maintain good relations and focus on the needs of existing clients Manage and be responsible for the recovery of the given financing from clients, through on-time follow-up and make sure the client has deposited his/her repayment to the branch cashier. Provide clients with information on Murabaha policy/procedures of Mutahid DFI Monitoring of the existing clients and report any deficiencies to the branch management. Ensure there are no violations in Sharia (Murabaha process) Perform any other task assigned by the line supervisor. Job requirements Education and Qualification: Minimum High school diploma, University education in finance, retail banking. Field Experience an advantage Experience in private business, credit and trade Other Requirements: Initiative, integrity, self-management, and ability to work Experience working in the field, bazaars, or markets an advantage Knowledge in social science or having some experience in social work Good communication skills and ability to work on a team Dari and Pashto fluency required; some knowledge of English is an advantage.
