SEO Specialist

Role summary We are looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to improve the technical health and search engine performance of our websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying technical SEO issues, implementing best practices, improving website performance, and working closely with developers and content teams to increase organic search visibility. The successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and experience with SEO tools and website optimization. Duties and responsibilities Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits. Identify and resolve crawling, indexing, and website performance issues. Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and URL structures. Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and page speed. Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and canonical tags. Implement and validate structured data ( Schema.org ). Analyze server logs and crawl reports to identify SEO opportunities. Monitor Google Search Console and resolve indexing errors. Conduct regular website health checks and technical audits. Collaborate with developers to implement SEO recommendations. Ensure websites follow Google's latest technical SEO best practices. Monitor website migrations and ensure SEO is preserved. Identify and fix duplicate content and redirect issues. Optimize mobile usability and user experience. Track SEO performance and prepare regular reports. Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends. Job requirements Proven experience as a Technical SEO Specialist or similar role. Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and best practices. Experience using Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, or Sitebulb. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture. Experience with website speed optimization and Core Web Vitals. Knowledge of structured data and Schema.org implementation. Understanding of XML sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, canonical tags, and indexing. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify. Basic understanding of server configurations and hosting environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and reporting abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. SEO certifications are considered an advantage.
