Finance Manager

Job Summary Qatar Red Crescent – Afghanistan Office is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee the office's financial operations, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and audit activities. Key Responsibilities The Finance Manager will be responsible for: Leading and managing all financial and accounting operations of the Afghanistan Office. Preparing and monitoring annual budgets and project budgets. Producing monthly, quarterly, annual, and donor financial reports. Ensuring compliance with QRC financial policies, donor regulations, and internal controls. Managing bank accounts, cash operations, financial reconciliations, and accounting records. Coordinating internal and external audits and ensuring timely implementation of recommendations. Monitoring project expenditures and financial performance. Providing financial advice and support to management and project teams. Supervising finance staff and supporting their professional development. Job Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIA) preferred. Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or financial management role. Experience with NGOs, humanitarian organizations, or donor-funded projects is an advantage. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and ERP systems.
