EPI Officer

Job Summary Responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising EPI and immunization activities to ensure quality service delivery in accordance with MoPH EPI guidelines and organizational standards. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities: Plan and monitor routine immunization and outreach activities. Provide technical support and supervision to EPI/vaccination teams. Monitor immunization coverage, vaccine utilization, cold chain, and vaccine safety. Review and ensure timely submission of accurate EPI reports and data. Identify gaps and support corrective actions to improve EPI performance. Coordinate with health facilities, project teams, and relevant government EPI authorities. Support EPI campaigns, trainings, and capacity-building activities. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. Education: MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree from a recognized university is required. Additional training in EPI, Immunization, Public Health, or Epidemiology is an advantage. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in EPI, immunization, public health, or related health programs. Skills & Competencies: Good knowledge of EPI and immunization standards. Good reporting, data analysis, communication, and coordination skills. Good computer skills, particularly MS Office. Fluency in Pashto/Dari; working knowledge of English is preferred.
