Role summary
Raoufi Holding Group is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Officer To manage all finance and accounting operations related to sub-distribution activities, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, timely collection of receivables, proper expense management, and comprehensive financial reporting to support strategic decision-making in the pharmaceutical distribution network. The Finance Officer will work closely with the Finance Manager, Deputy Finance Manager, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Distribution teams to ensure accurate financial management and efficient business operations.
Duties and responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (Details) 1. Sales Invoicing & Credit Management Process and raise sales invoices accurately for all sub-distributor transactions as per company policy and sub-distributer agreement. Handle sales return entries and credit memo creation in accordance with company policies and sub-distributer agreement. Ensure all invoicing is completed timely and coded correctly 2. Sub-Distributor Payment Collection & Credit Control Collect payment from sub-distributors and monitor distribution ledgers' due amounts Follow up regularly with distributors regarding overdue payments. Report delayed recoveries and aged debtor issues to the line manager promptly 3. Marketing Expenses Management Collect and review monthly marketing expense along with all supporting documents from sub-distributors. Obtain authorized person's verification and approval before processing. Enter approved distributor monthly expense reports into QuickBooks and ERP Accounting software accurately. Prepare and pass journal entries for monthly marketing expenses on a recurring monthly basis 4. Sub-Distributor Ledger Management Obtain monthly confirmation of sub-distributor ledgers Perform complete ledger reconciliation with sub-distributors to ensure accuracy Resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliation processes Maintain accurate and up-to-date sub-distributor ledger records 5. Finance Issue Resolution Address and resolve finance-related issues arising during sub-distribution operations Solve distribution issues according to available policies, Distribution agreement and mechanisms. Work closely with sales accounts department and distribution teams to resolve billing or invoicing discrepancies Provide timely support to maintain smooth distribution operations 6. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly distribution-wise Profit and Loss (P&L) statements Prepare Monthly Marketing Budget Utilization versus Actual Sales Reports. 7. ROI (Return on Investment) Management Process ROI transactions and maintain comprehensive records Track return from ROIs and ensure complete sales are received Monitor ROI timelines until the end of the agreed period Ensure ROI compliance and report on ROI performance 8. Day-to-Day Accounting Operations Pass journal entries for all sub-distributor financial transactions Ensure timely and accurate recording of all accounting transactions Maintain proper documentation for all financial entries Support month-end and year-end procedures relating to income, expenditure, and reporting 9. Additional Duties Perform any other finance, accounting, distribution, or reporting duties assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management Support continuous improvements within financial systems, processes, and controls Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth Key Responsibilities: (briefly) Prepare and process sub-distributers sales invoices accurately, timely and in accordance with sub-distributers agreement terms and condition. Record sales returns or credit memo transactions. Follow up and collect outstanding payments from sub-distributors and report overdue balances to management. Collect, review, and process sub-distributors' monthly marketing expenses and claims in the ledger after obtaining proper authorization and approval. Obtain weekly, monthly and quarterly confirmation of sub-distributor account balances and ledger statement. Perform reconciliation of sub-distributor ledgers and resolve discrepancies. Address and resolve finance-related issues arising within the sub-distribution network in accordance with company policies. Prepare monthly distribution-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements. Prepare monthly distribution-wise Marketing Budget Utilization vs. Actual Sales reports. Process and monitor ROI agreements, ensuring timely recovery and proper documentation. Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and maintain complete and up-to-date accounting records. Perform any other finance, accounting, reporting, or distribution-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager, or senior management.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial management. Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or distribution sector is highly preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation Experience with QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
