TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) Afghanistan Office The Qatar Red Crescent Society – Afghanistan Office announces its intention to launch the following tender: Tender No.: QRCS/AFG/2026/003 Tender Subject: Procurement of Food Items for the Emergency Food Assistance Project for Earthquake-Affected Families in Kunar Province 1. Scope of Work The scope of this tender includes the supply of the required food items for the preparation of 1,720 food baskets , in accordance with the quantities, technical specifications, quality requirements, packaging and delivery conditions specified in the tender documents. The food baskets shall be supplied and delivered to the designated distribution locations in four districts of Kunar Province: Nurgal, Sawkai, Sarkani, and Nari . 2. Place of Delivery Kunar Province, Afghanistan , to the designated distribution sites in the districts of Nurgal, Sawkai, Sarkani, and Nari . Prices shall be inclusive of supply, transportation, and delivery under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms to the designated distribution sites. 3. Participation Requirements Interested companies shall meet the following requirements: Be legally registered and licensed to conduct the business relevant to this tender. Submit copies of valid legal and registration documents. Submit the company profile. Provide the year of establishment and registered capital. Provide the number of employees and technical staff, as well as branches, if any. Submit a list of similar projects or contracts previously implemented. Submit a technical offer in accordance with the required specifications. Submit a financial offer in United States Dollars (USD) . 4. Submission of Bids Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope containing the following: Technical offer. Financial offer. Legal and registration documents. Required catalogues and technical documentation. Any bid submitted after the specified deadline will not be accepted. Submission of Documents: All required documents must be submitted in hard copy and placed in the QRCS-AF Tender Box at the following address before mentioned date and time: Home #43, Street #A1, Qala-e-Fathullah, Kabul, Afghanistan. 5. Evaluation Bids will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Fulfilment of eligibility requirements. Compliance with the technical specifications. Previous experience in implementing similar works or contracts. Completeness of all required documentation. Financial evaluation of technically compliant bids. 6. Payment Terms Payment shall be made in United States Dollars (USD) upon completion of the supply and delivery, and following the official receipt, inspection, and approval of the materials by the Qatar Red Crescent Society. 7. Notes The Qatar Red Crescent Society reserves the right to cancel the tender or re-tender it without providing reasons. The Society reserves the right to increase or decrease the required quantities according to its needs. Any bid that does not comply with the requirements or technical specifications will be rejected. All terms and conditions stated in this announcement shall constitute an integral part of the tender documents.
