CALL FOR CVs – WEB DEVELOPER / SOFTWARE CONSULTANT

Job Summary Important Notice This Call for CVs is issued for the purpose of identifying and collecting CVs of qualified candidates for a proposed UNDP-funded project. Job Purpose The Web Developer/Software Consultant will provide technical expertise for the development, customization, maintenance, and improvement of digital platforms, websites, databases, or software solutions required by the project. Key Responsibilities Assess project requirements and recommend appropriate web/software solutions. Design, develop, customize, and maintain web-based platforms or applications. Support development of digital tools for skills mapping and job matching. Integrate databases and information management components into web solutions. Develop user-friendly and accessible interfaces. Apply appropriate data protection and security measures. Test, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Prepare technical documentation for developed systems. Train designated AREP staff on system use and basic administration. Provide technical advice on hosting, domain, software, database, and system requirements. Coordinate with the Skills Mapping and Job Matching/MIS Officer. Ensure developed solutions meet agreed technical requirements. Provide technical progress updates and deliverables. Perform other technical duties assigned by the Project Manager. Job Requirements Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field. Minimum five years of relevant experience in web-based platform development, frontend/backend design, database integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Experience in secure, responsive, and low-maintenance systems is required. Good English required.
