Finance Manager – Female

Role summary Regal Group is seeking a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated Female Finance Manager to lead and manage the company's finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening financial controls, managing accounting activities, and providing reliable financial information to support management decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in QuickBooks Accounting Software , financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, bank reconciliation, and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel . Duties and responsibilities Manage and oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of Regal Group. Maintain complete and accurate accounting records using QuickBooks . Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash-flow records. Prepare and monitor annual and project-specific budgets. Review financial transactions and ensure proper supporting documentation is maintained. Perform and review bank, cash, supplier, and other account reconciliations. Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and report significant variances. Manage payroll-related financial records and coordinate with the HR and Administration departments as required. Maintain proper financial documentation, filing systems, and audit trails. Ensure compliance with company financial policies, applicable tax requirements, and relevant laws and regulations. Coordinate with banks, tax authorities, clients, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders on financial matters. Support management with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making. Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls . Assist with internal and external audits and provide all required financial records and supporting documents. Prepare project financial reports as required by management, clients, partners, or donors. Supervise and provide guidance to finance and accounting staff. Perform other finance-related duties assigned by senior management. Job requirements Master's Degree/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree (BBA) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field may also be considered based on relevant professional experience. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and finance, preferably with private-sector, construction, renewable energy, infrastructure, or project-based organizations. Previous experience in a supervisory or Finance Manager position is highly desirable. Required Skills and Competencies Strong practical knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online . Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel , including financial calculations, reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other MS Office applications. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash-flow management. Knowledge of Afghan taxation and applicable financial regulations is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto and good working proficiency in English .
