Role summary
Objective of the Position: To represent NaqdPay in the assigned zone, strengthen market presence, increase awareness and adoption of NaqdPay services and channels, develop business relationships, identify qualified opportunities, and provide accurate market information, statistics, findings and recommendations that support business growth and expansion.
Duties and responsibilities
Reporting and Working Arrangement: Field Business Managers will work under the overall guidance of the Head of Business and report directly to the Business Department. Each manager will independently manage field activities within the assigned zone and surrounding provinces and will coordinate with relevant NaqdPay departments when market opportunities or issues require operational, technical, compliance, marketing or other internal support. Duties and Responsibilities: • Represent NaqdPay professionally across the assigned zone and surrounding provinces and maintain an active, credible presence in the market. • Maintain regular field presence in priority markets, commercial areas, business clusters and other locations relevant to NaqdPay's business objectives. • Introduce and promote NaqdPay's approved services and channels to the public, businesses, institutions and potential partners. • Identify and approach potential business partners, customer segments and new market opportunities across different sectors. • Conduct regular field visits, market surveys and business meetings to understand customer needs, market demand, customer behavior, service gaps and commercial trends. • Map major business clusters, identify market-size indicators and recommend potential areas for service and geographic expansion. • Monitor competitor presence, services and market activities using lawful and publicly available market information. • Build and maintain professional relationships with businesses, merchants, associations, institutions and other relevant market stakeholders. • Collect reliable market information, statistics, observations and stakeholder feedback; maintain organized records and clearly distinguish verified information from estimates where applicable. • Generate and maintain a pipeline of potential business opportunities, conduct follow-up and refer qualified opportunities to the Business Department. • Identify opportunities to increase awareness, adoption, transaction activity and use of NaqdPay services and channels. • Support approved awareness campaigns, product introductions, events and other market-development initiatives. • Monitor market response to NaqdPay services and promptly report significant barriers, risks, customer concerns and opportunities. • Prepare and submit regular field-visit reports, market-study reports, market statistics, business opportunities, findings and practical recommendations to the Business Department. • Coordinate with relevant NaqdPay teams to follow up market opportunities, service issues and stakeholder requirements. • Do not commit NaqdPay to unapproved services, pricing, contracts, financial terms or other commercial commitments outside delegated authority. IV. Impact of Results Effective performance of the Field Business Manager will strengthen NaqdPay's presence and visibility in the assigned zones, improve understanding of local market conditions, generate qualified business opportunities, support adoption of NaqdPay services and channels, and provide management with timely evidence for commercial and expansion decisions. Key Performance Areas: • Market coverage and frequency of field engagement across zones and surrounding provinces. • Number and quality of business meetings, qualified leads and partnership opportunities generated. • Development and continuity of relationships with key businesses and market stakeholders. • Identification of new customer segments, business clusters, service gaps and expansion opportunities. • Growth in awareness, adoption and use of NaqdPay services and channels. • Quality, accuracy and usefulness of market information, statistics and competitor intelligence. • Timeliness and quality of market, field-visit and business reports. • Effective follow-up of business leads, stakeholder requirements and market opportunities. • Overall contribution to NaqdPay's business growth and market presence within the assigned zone. Leadership and Self-Management • Initiative, accountability and results orientation. • Ability to work independently in the market while following assigned priorities and internal controls. • Professional conduct, integrity and sound judgement in external representation. • Adaptability and willingness to travel frequently across the assigned zone and surrounding provinces.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Management, Commerce or a related field. • At least 3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, market research, field operations, banking, fintech, payments, telecommunications or another market-facing sector. • Strong knowledge of the local market, business environment and commercial clusters within the duty station and surrounding provinces for which the candidate applies. • Proven ability to conduct field research, collect market information and prepare clear business reports. • Ability to identify business opportunities and develop professional relationships with different market stakeholders. • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills. • Good analytical skills and ability to work with market information, statistics and business reports. • Ability to work independently, manage field activities and follow assigned business priorities. • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the assigned zone and surrounding provinces is essential. • Fluency in relevant local languages; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
