Business Development Manager

Role summary The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, increasing hotel revenue, building long-term partnerships, and strengthening the hotel’s market position. The role focuses on corporate clients, travel agencies, long-stay guests, and strategic partnerships. Duties and responsibilities Identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities to increase hotel occupancy and revenue Target corporate clients, NGOs, embassies, companies, and government organizations Develop long-term and short-term corporate contracts Increase room sales, conference bookings, and long-stay reservations Sales & Partnerships Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate partners Represent the hotel in meetings, networking events, and business visits Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients Coordinate closely with Sales, Front Office, and Operations teams Market Analysis & Strategy Conduct market research and competitor analysis Monitor industry trends and customer needs Provide strategic recommendations to management Prepare sales forecasts and business plans Reporting & Coordination · Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports · Track performance against targets and KPIs · Maintain accurate records of leads, contracts, and accounts Job requirements Requirements: · Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills · Proven experience in business development or hotel sales · Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets · Good understanding of the hospitality and service industry Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing Strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Experience in market research, competitor analysis, and CRM software Goal-oriented, data-driven, and adaptable to dynamic business environments. Language Requirements Fluency in Dari or Pashto (mandatory) Excellent command of English (spoken and written preferred) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred
