Poultry and Livestock Officer call for CV

Job Summary Plan and implement poultry and livestock project activities according to approved work plans. Provide technical guidance on poultry and livestock management, feeding, breeding, housing, hygiene, and animal health. Conduct regular field visits to monitor beneficiaries and project activities. Support vaccination, deworming, disease prevention, and animal health activities. Conduct training and awareness sessions for beneficiaries on improved poultry and livestock practices. Support the distribution and monitoring of poultry, livestock, feed, and related inputs. Collect project data and maintain accurate beneficiary and activity records. Prepare regular activity and progress reports. Coordinate with communities, local authorities, veterinary services, and project staff. Identify challenges and provide appropriate technical solutions. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and safeguarding standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Livestock Production, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in poultry, livestock, agriculture, or livelihood projects. Good knowledge of poultry and livestock production, animal health, feeding, breeding, and disease prevention. Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Ability to work in field and rural areas. Good computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel. Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto; basic English is an advantage.
