Role summary
Assistant – Carrier Relations & Wholesale (Casual) with e& Afghanistan.
Duties and responsibilities
Carrier & Partner Management: • Support day-to-day communication with international telecom operators, carriers, hubs, and service providers. • Maintain and update carrier contact databases, agreements, and operational documentation. • Assist in coordinating with partners on service activations, testing, troubleshooting, and operational matters. • Monitor carrier performance and escalate issues to relevant internal teams when required. International Voice & SMS: • Assist in the management and monitoring of international voice and SMS interconnections. • Support commercial negotiations through preparation of traffic reports, pricing analyses, and partner information. • Track routing changes, quality issues, and service-related incidents. • Coordinate with technical and operational teams to support service continuity. Roaming Services: • Support inbound and outbound roaming operations and partner coordination. • Assist with roaming testing, launch activities, and partner implementations. • Monitor roaming performance reports and escalate issues affecting customer experience. • Maintain roaming agreements and partner documentation. Data Services (IP Transit & DPLC): • Assist in managing relationships with IP Transit and DPLC service providers. • Support capacity planning, utilization tracking, and preparation of commercial and operational reports. • Coordinate with technical teams regarding service provisioning, upgrades, and fault management. • Maintain documentation related to international connectivity services. Billing & Settlement: • Assist in the preparation, verification, and reconciliation of international carrier invoices. • Support billing dispute management and settlement activities with international partners. • Maintain billing records and settlement documentation. • Coordinate with Finance and partner organizations to ensure timely processing of payments and collections. Reporting & Analysis: • Prepare periodic traffic, revenue, cost, and performance reports. • Assist in data collection and analysis to support business decisions and commercial negotiations. • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and management reports. • Support the preparation of business cases, presentations, and management summaries. General Support: • Coordinate with internal technical, finance, commercial, and regulatory teams. • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards. • Perform administrative and operational tasks required to support the International & Wholesale Carrier Relations function. • Participate in projects and initiatives related to the international wholesale business.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field with one year of relevant experience.
