Survey Engineer

Job Summary Position: Site Survey Engineer Employer: Ahmad Mukhtar Construction Unit (AMCU) Project: Road Construction Project Duty Station: Kabul, Afghanistan – District 19 Contract Duration: 6 Months’ Probation Period: First 1 Month Application Deadline: 28 August 2026 Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field . Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction surveying, preferably in road construction projects. Demonstrated experience in road alignment, leveling, setting-out, earthworks, drainage, and pavement work. Strong practical knowledge of Total Station, Auto Level/Digital Level, and surveying equipment . Ability to read and interpret civil/road drawings, profiles, cross-sections, coordinates, and technical specifications. Good knowledge of surveying calculations and preparation of survey records. Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, survey teams, and construction workers. Good computer skills, particularly AutoCAD and MS Excel . Strong attention to accuracy, quality, and technical details. Ability to work under site conditions and meet project deadlines.
