Role summary
To maintain the Bank’s electronic, ELV, security, communication, and fire-alarm systems, ensuring continuous protection of people, assets, information, and facilities. The role keeps CCTV, access-control, fire-alarm, intercom, and related ELV systems fully operational, responds promptly to faults and alarms, and ensures that all security-related information is handled with strict confidentiality.
Duties and responsibilities
1) Technical Operations & Maintenance: Maintain CCTV cameras, NVR/DVRs, monitors, storage systems, and associated equipment. Troubleshoot camera, recording, communication, and power problems. Adjust the camera coverage and functionality according to the security team instruction. Maintain card readers, biometric devices, controllers, electromagnetic locks, door interfaces, and access-control panels. Troubleshoot access-control failures. Coordinate with Security and IT departments and any other relevant department. Maintain and inspect fire alarm control panels. Inspect smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, strobes, modules, and interfaces. Conduct routine testing in accordance with approved procedures. Respond to fire alarm faults. Coordinate with specialist fire-alarm contractors for programming and major repairs. Maintain intercom and communication systems. Support public-address systems. Support BMS/BAS electronic components and sensors. Maintain electronic control panels and power supplies. Maintain backup power for ELV systems. Maintain equipment records and system drawings. Maintain configuration records. Ensure security-system information is handled confidentially. 2) Compliance & Safety: Ensure all engineering operations comply with relevant regulatory codes, company policies, and safety standards. Adhere to and enforce strict safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and maintain a safe working environment. Work closely with management to ensure compliance with all government regulations. Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Job requirements
Educational Qualifications: Minimum education shall be Diploma/Certificate in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, ELV Technology or related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant Experience: Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in electronic, ELV security, and building systems. Strong experience in CCTV, access control, fire alarm, intercom, and ELV systems preferred. Skills & Competencies: Ability to respond to emergency maintenance calls after hours and work flexible hours as needed. Basic English and computer literacy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and risk mitigation. In-depth knowledge of CCTV systems, IP/analog cameras, NVR/DVRs, monitors, storage systems, and associated equipment. Strong knowledge of access control systems, biometric devices, card readers, door controllers, electromagnetic locks, and related equipment. Knowledge of fire alarm systems, including control panels, smoke/heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, strobes, modules, and interfaces. Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits, motherboards, sensors, relays, power supplies, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret ELV drawings, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical manuals. Basic knowledge of IP addressing, structured cabling and communication systems. Strong security awareness and ability to maintain confidentiality of security system information. Strong communication, teamwork, coordination, and reporting skills.
