Role summary Global Star Security Services Company (GSS) is seeking qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals to join its operations in Afghanistan. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions based in Kabul, Afghanistan . Duties and responsibilities 1) Human Resources Officer – Third Country National (TCN) Department: Human Resources Employment Type: Contract-Based Nationality Requirement: Third Country National Candidates Only The Human Resources Officer will support HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, personnel records management, attendance monitoring, employee documentation, leave management, disciplinary administration, and HR compliance activities. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, personnel administration, office administration, or related fields. Strong knowledge of HR records, contracts, attendance management, and employee documentation. Excellent English communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate personnel records. Strong organizational and administrative skills. 2) Finance Officer – Third Country National (TCN) Department: Finance Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract-Based Nationality Requirement: Third Country National Candidates Only The Finance Officer will support accounting, payroll administration, cash management, reconciliations, expense tracking, payment processing, and financial record management while ensuring compliance with company procedures. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or financial administration. Experience with reconciliations, payment documentation, expense tracking, and financial reporting. Strong Microsoft Excel and financial administration skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality. Strong English language proficiency. 3) Training Supervisor – Third Country National (TCN) Department: Operation Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract-Based Nationality Requirement: Third Country National Candidates Only The Training Supervisor will coordinate and deliver training to security personnel and ensure that all required training records and competency standards are maintained. Key responsibilities: · Prepare and implement training plans and schedules. · Deliver induction, refresher and specialist security training. · Conduct practical exercises, assessments and competency evaluations. · Maintain training attendance registers, assessment results and personnel training files. · Identify training gaps and recommend corrective or refresher training. · Ensure training complies with GSS policies, client requirements and applicable standards. · Submit regular training reports to management. Minimum Requirements: · Relevant military, police or private-security training experience. · Recognised instructor or train-the-trainer qualification is preferred. · Strong presentation, communication and administrative skills. · Good written and spoken English. 4) CHEF – Third Country National (TCN) Department: General Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract-Based Nationality Requirement: Third Country National Candidates Only The Chef will be responsible for preparing safe, nutritious and good-quality meals for GSS personnel. Key responsibilities: · Plan menus and prepare daily meals. · Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness. · Monitor food stocks and submit timely replenishment requests. · Store and handle food items safely. · Control portions and minimise waste. · Maintain kitchen equipment and immediately report defects. · Accommodate reasonable dietary requirements where required. Minimum Requirements: · Proven experience as a chef or cook in a company, camp, hotel or similar environment. · Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food-handling practices. · Ability to prepare meals for groups of personnel. · Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, organised kitchen. Job requirements Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in Afghanistan or similar complex operating environments, and those who have worked with international organizations, security companies, NGOs, diplomatic missions, development organizations, or multinational companies, will have an advantage. Additional qualifications in project management, human resources, finance, accounting, logistics, procurement, supply chain management, business administration, or related disciplines are desirable.
