Chief Surveyor

Job Summary Control project survey benchmarks, setting-out, levels, as-built survey and dimensional verification across all workfronts.• Establish and protect survey control network and benchmarks. • Review setting-out data and coordinate survey priorities with Area Managers. • Verify building grids, foundations, roads, drainage, utilities and external works coordinates/levels. • Check survey instruments and calibration records. • Prepare as-built survey records and resolve dimensional discrepancies before subsequent work. • Supervise surveyors and maintain survey register. Job Requirements Diploma/BSc Surveying/Civil Engineering; minimum 8 years construction surveying experience. Total station/GNSS; leveling; AutoCAD/Civil 3D desirable; coordinate systems; survey records.
