Finance Controller

Role summary A Finance Controller manages a company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. Oversee daily financial tasks, guide the accounting team, and ensure compliance with tax and financial laws. This role reports to the company Director. Duties and responsibilities 1. overseeing and optimising financial and accounting operations, including cash flow management, debt management and collection. 2. finalizing high-level financial reporting and consolidating budgets 3. carrying out financial analysis and reviews 4. ensuring compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations, including company tax preparation 5. creating and directing financial strategy, and projecting risks and opportunities 6. close consultation with executives, including providing investment advice 7. management of financial departments and mentoring of staff 8. Overseeing all financial planning and analysis 9. Recommending changes to improve financial performance 10. Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate 11. Preparing accurate financial statements including month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements 12. Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance. 13. Forecasting future financial performance 14. Preparing and analysing budgets 15. Providing accurate financial reports to management 16. Ensuring compliance with government regulations Job requirements 1. At Least Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics Specialization in Finance and accounting (Master’s Degree is preferred). 2. At least over 5-7 Years progressive practical experience in the field relevant field. 3. Full knowledge of QuickBooks and practical experience is needed. 4. Computer Skills (Computer Knowledge) 5. Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. 6. Strong Communications skills. 7. Able to communicate in Dari, Pashto & English. Able to work long hours when needed.
