Carpet Processing Trainer

Job Summary Deliver practical training on carpet washing and post-processing techniques. Demonstrate proper stretching, drying, trimming, brushing, and finishing methods. Train participants on appropriate use of processing materials, tools, and equipment. Provide guidance on stain removal and maintaining carpet quality during processing. Train participants on quality inspection and identification of defects. Promote safe handling of chemicals, equipment, and processing materials. Demonstrate improved processing techniques to enhance product quality and market value. Monitor participants' practical performance and provide feedback. Maintain training and participant progress records. Coordinate with the project team on materials, equipment, and training schedules. Perform other relevant duties assigned by the organization. Job Requirements Candidates with proven practical experience and strong hands-on technical skills in carpet weaving and carpet processing will be given preference. Relevant technical qualification or vocational training in carpet processing, textiles, handicrafts, or a related field. At least 3 years of practical experience in carpet processing and finishing. Good knowledge of carpet washing, stretching, drying, trimming, and finishing. Previous training experience is an advantage. Knowledge of occupational safety and proper handling of processing materials. Strong communication and practical training skills. Good documentation and reporting skills. Fluency in Dari, Pashto and English with working knowledge.
