Female Pharmacy technician

Role summary UMCA/RPA is Hiring Female Pharmacy technician. Duties and responsibilities · Rotate through all work areas of the pharmacy. · Pick up unused medications from the nursing units and return them to the pharmacy. · Prepare medications and supplies for dispensing, including Repacking bulk medications, Packaging and preparing drugs for inpatients, Preparing prescriptions for outpatients, checking continuous unit dose medications. · Prepare inventories, order drugs and supplies form the storeroom, receive drugs and stock shelves in various pharmacy locations. · Monthly checking of expiry dates in Pharmacy. · Management of Pharmaceutical preparations. · Make preparations according to prescriptions and good practice of preparation rule. · Properly clean every item between each preparation. · Record each preparation in daily drug register. · Take care of refrigerators and cleaning of them. · Participate to daily and quarterly inventories of Pharmacy. · Performs related works as assigned. Job requirements · Diploma/Certificate in pharmacy along with 3 years’ work experience · Good mathematical skills · Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local health representatives. · Skills to provide sensitive and appropriate medical counseling. · Having team management skills. · Fluency in Pashto, Dari, English (preferable) Languages. · Communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work and deal successfully in a multicultural environment. · Being patient, maintaining a positive attitude and having the ability to work in crisis situations.
