Job Summary Job Summary OMID is implementing a Protection through Livelihood project in Mazar Dara, Nurgal District of Kunar province for earthquake-affected families. The organization is providing livelihood support to targeted female beneficiaries. To further strengthen their capacities, OMID is seeking qualified female trainers to deliver training sessions on a daily basis in the following areas: Life Skills Training on Social Leadership and Accountability: The selected trainer will conduct training for four groups of women (total of 100 beneficiaries). Each group will receive a one-day training on social leadership, similarly 100 women on social accountability and 100 on GBV. For this component (social protection) one female trainer is required to conduct respective trainings. Livestock / Animal Husbandry Training: The trainer will deliver training for 8 groups, with each group receiving two days of training and each group consists from 25 women. One female trainer is required for this component to conduct respective training. These positions require strong technical expertise in social protection and animal husbandry, along with a solid understanding of protection principles and gender-sensitive programming. OMID organization will provide transportation for the trainers from Nurgal district to Mazar Valley on the training days. Key Duties and Responsibilities Training Planning and Implementation Develop and implement detailed implementation plans (DIPs) and work plans for the assigned training activities. Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all training sessions in line with donor requirements and OMID’s operational guidelines. Coordinate closely with project staff to ensure smooth implementation of training activities. Develop training manuals in local languages (Pashto). Submit training materials for review and finalize them based on feedback from OMID technical staff and the donor. Deliver high-quality, participatory training sessions. Prepare and submit daily and final training reports. Coordination and Representation Represent OMID at the community level in a professional manner. Maintain effective communication and coordination with project staff. Reporting and Documentation Prepare accurate, timely, and high-quality narrative and technical reports in English for donor submission, and in national languages for government line departments. Document and share lessons learned, best practices, and success stories to support organizational learning. Job Requirements Job Requirements Education: Relevant education in each sector or experience in relevant field. Higher education in a related discipline (preferred). Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in delivering training in the relevant field with national or international organizations. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of humanitarian and development principles, community empowerment, and protection programming (including GBV prevention and gender mainstreaming). Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills in English. Proven ability in project implementation, community mobilization, and stakeholder coordination. Core Competencies: Strong communication, coordination, and facilitation skills. Excellent training, presentation, and community engagement abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. High level of flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English and Pashto.
