Job Summary Job Purpose The Orphan Sponsorship Officer is responsible for conducting home and school visits for orphan beneficiaries, monitoring their educational progress, and well-being, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. Key Responsibilities · Conduct regular home and school visits for female orphan beneficiaries. · Monitor educational progress, attendance, health, and wellbeing of the orphans. · Verify beneficiary information and maintain accurate records. · Prepare Home and School Visit Reports. · Coordinate with schools and guardians. · Comply with safeguarding, child protection, and confidentiality policies. · Travel to provinces and coordinate the availability of a Mahram where required. · Maintain field visit financial documentation and expenses. · Manage program data using Database, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. · Support education and sponsorship activities and reporting. · Perform other duties assigned by the Education and Sponsorship Manager. Job Requirements Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. · Minimum three years of relevant experience. · Experience working with orphan or vulnerable children is highly desirable. Required Skills and Competencies · Proven experience in conducting orphan Sponsorship Projects. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). · Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills. · Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. · Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto;(Dari and Pashto are Compulsory) · Proficiency in photography and videography, along with a good command of photo, video, and audio editing software, is considered an advantage. · Ability to develop compelling beneficiary stories and case studies. Other Requirements · Female candidate only. · Willingness to travel within Afghanistan. · Ability to travel with a Mahram where required. · Commitment to the organization's Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding Policy.
