Technical Engineer

Job Summary Job Summary The Technical Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing engineering activities to ensure that project works are completed according to technical specifications, quality standards, budget, and timeline. The Technical Engineer provides technical guidance, prepares reports, and coordinates with project teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities ü Plan, supervise, and monitor engineering and construction activities RMH and Greenhouses. ü Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs. ü Ensure all works comply with project requirements, engineering standards, and safety regulations. ü Conduct site inspections and monitor the quality of construction works. ü Prepare technical reports, work plans, progress reports, and documentation. ü Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project staff. ü Identify technical issues and propose appropriate engineering solutions. ü Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of activities. ü Verify quantities of completed work and assist with measurements and certifications. ü Ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and engineering resources. ü Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering advice. ü Perform any other engineering-related duties assigned by the project manager Job Requirements Qualifications ü Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering field. ü Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience (depending on project requirements). ü Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and quality control. ü Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. ü Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Skills Experience working with NGOs, FAO projects, or donor-funded projects. Strong report writing and coordination skills. Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
