Job Summary LIA Logistics is looking to hire Accounts Assistant in our Kabul office. We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day operational support to the Accounts and Finance team. Prepare and maintain payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents. Assist in recording daily financial transactions and updating accounting records. Maintain and organize customer, vendor, and expense-related invoices. Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Follow up internally on pending invoices, payment documents, and necessary approvals. Support the preparation of customer invoices and statements of account. Assist with petty cash management and maintain accurate expense records. Verify bills, receipts, reimbursement claims, and supporting documents before submission. Assist in reconciling cash balances, customer ledgers, vendor accounts, and bank records. Maintain proper physical and electronic filing of all accounting documents. Support monthly closing, payroll documentation, audits, and financial reporting as required. Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of financial information. Administrative Support Maintain organized files, registers, records, and official company documents. Manage incoming and outgoing invoices, letters, and other official correspondence. Coordinate with internal departments, customers, vendors, and service providers regarding documentation. Maintain office supplies and assist in preparing purchase and expense requests. Support routine administrative activities. Assist in arranging meetings and preparing relevant documents when required. Ensure that all records are properly labelled, updated, and easily retrievable. Perform other accounts and administrative duties assigned by the management. Job Requirements Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounts, finance, or office administration. Basic understanding of bookkeeping, invoicing, petty cash, and financial documentation. Experience in maintaining files, records, and office documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with accounting software will be an advantage. Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto; working knowledge of English is preferred. Required Competencies Strong numerical and record-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management abilities. High level of integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality. Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Professional communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and support both Accounts and Administration functions.
