HR Intern

Job Summary The Human Resources Intern will support the HR Department in day-to-day HR operations while gaining practical experience in recruitment, personnel administration, employee records management, onboarding, and other HR functions. The intern will work under the supervision of the HR Manager and maintain strict confidentiality of all HR information. Key Responsibilities Assist in posting job vacancies. Download and organize job applications. Support CV longlisting and filing. Contact shortlisted candidates for written tests and interviews. Prepare interview schedules and meeting arrangements. Assist in reference and background checks when required. Assist in preparing onboarding documents. Support orientation for newly recruited employees. Prepare personnel files for new staff. Assist with staff clearance and exit documentation. Maintain and organize employee personnel files (physical and electronic). Assist in collecting and reviewing attendance records. Perform any other job related tasks as asigned by the line manager. Job Requirements Key Selection Criteria Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Administration, economics, or any other related field. Experience: Prior experience is not required. However, relevant experience will be considered an advantage. Skills and Personal Attributes: Basic understanding of HR principles. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Good written and spoken English. Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto. Attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a team.
