Full-Stack Software Developer (Officer)

Role summary AUB is looking for a talented and motivated Full-Stack Software Developer (Officer) to join its Digital Banking Innovation & Development Unit. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital banking applications, internal systems, and integration platforms. The role requires strong technical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for innovation in FinTech and digital transformation. Develop and maintain enterprise banking applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular 18+, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD practices. Duties and responsibilities Design, develop, test and maintain applications Build REST APIs and microservices Develop Angular frontends Optimize Oracle/PostgreSQL databases Follow secure coding and banking standards Collaborate in Agile teams Document solutions Any other assigned by Line Manager Job requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development (website, mobile applications) and FinTech Applications. Hands-on experience in system architecture design, API integration, and third-party vendor systems. Java (17+ preferred), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate Angular 18+, TypeScript, RxJS, Signals, HTML/CSS/SCSS Oracle and PostgreSQL Git, GitHub CI/CD concepts Python (basic to advanced preferred) REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2/JWT, Swagger Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), Postman OOP, SOLID, Design Patterns, Clean Code Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities. Strong documentation and presentation skills.
