Job Summary Responsibilities: The …X-Ray Technician’s responsibilities include: · Management and implementation of activities related to the X-Ray Department. · To perform accurate and appropriate X-ray examinations for admitted patients and emergency clients strictly upon the physician’s request and instruction. · To properly maintain and safeguard X-ray equipment, instruments, and supplies in accordance with established procedures. · Perform assigned duties during official working hours and duty shifts. · Ensure the accurate and timely collection and recording of X-ray-related data. · Strictly observe and implement all radiation protection and safety measures for self, patients/clients, staff, and the surrounding environment. · Properly handle, dispose of, and arrange X-ray-related waste materials in accordance with applicable procedures. · Prepare and submit monthly reports to the hospital management and provide reports whenever requested. · Prepare and submit a list of consumable materials required for the X-ray Department. · Continuously improve and enhance professional knowledge and technical capacity in accordance with national guidelines and standards. · Perform any other official duties assigned or requested by the hospital management and relevant higher authorities. · Identify and submit requests for the necessary supplies and materials required for the X-ray Department. · Ensure that the stock and supplies of the X-ray Department are properly organized and maintained. · all activities related to the X-ray Department and ensure timely submission of requests for its required supplies and materials. Job Requirements Qualifications: Candidates must have the following qualifications: · Diploma in Radiology/X-Ray Technology from a recognized medical or health sciences institution. · Priority will be given to qualified candidates who are residents of the local area. · Valid registration/license from the relevant health authority. · Preferably 1–2 years of relevant work experience in X-Ray/radiology services, especially in a hospital or health facility. · Ability to operate X-Ray equipment safely and correctly and perform routine X-Ray examinations according to physician requests. · Radiation Safety: Good knowledge of radiation protection and safety procedures for patients, staff, and the environment. · Ability to maintain accurate X-Ray records, statistics, stock records, and monthly reports. · Basic computer skills for recording data and preparing reports. · Ability to work effectively under pressure and in resource-limited settings. · Good communication and interpersonal skills. · Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto; knowledge of English · Willingness to work in remote and underserved areas when
